Mishael Morgan Returns to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS
No, your eyes weren’t deceiving you — Mishael Morgan has returned to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! Viewers were just as stunned as Devon when he opened the door to see his late wife standing in front of him in the Sept. 19 episode. The soap had kept a tight lid on the actress’ comeback both in the casting and the new storyline she’ll be playing out, but they did release this fun teaser!
Previously, Morgan had made a handful of special appearances in May of 2019 as Devon had visions of his late wife while struggling with his feelings for Elena. Hilary died in Devon’s arms and her ghost appeared to him, but now her look-alike, Amanda Sinclair, has shown up in Genoa City! But who is she, really, and why does she look exactly like Hilary? You’ll have to stay tuned to find out!
Morgan joined the cast of Y&R back in June of 2013 as the scheming, manipulative Hilary Curtis, and the character quickly became a fan-favorite among viewers as she fell in love with Neil, then Devon, and “Hevon” became a massively popular supercouple. So fans were understandably devastated when the actress chose to leave the soap and Hilary was killed off in a tragic car accident.
