DAYS Alum Casey Deidrick Finds Love This “Wedding Season”

‘Tis the month of June, which means it is wedding season! Fittingly, that happens to be the name of the Hallmark Channel movie premiering Saturday, June 3, starring DAYS OF OUR LIVES alum Casey Deidrick (ex-Chad)!

Kicking off the cable network’s annual “June Weddings” month of programming, Wedding Season stars Deidrick as Ryan opposite Stephanie Bennett’s Trish. In a whirlwind wedding season, journalist Trish is lined up for back-to-back bridesmaid duties as three of her childhood best friends are getting married. When her date is unable to join her, Trish pairs up with photographer Ryan — who happens to be the brother of her best friend, Sean.

Ryan and Trish already have an established history, and as they pair up as each other’s plus-one, they realize that the feelings they have held for one another since high school are returning. Everything appears to be going well when a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity arises for Ryan, potentially separating him from Trish once again, and one of the engaged couples starts having doubts about their relationship. With emotions running high, the friends take a hard look at what their priorities are and realize that true love is worth fighting for.

As DAYS fans may remember, Deidrick created the role of Chad DiMera back in 2009, playing the character until he left the show in 2013. (The role was recast with Billy Flynn a year later.) Since exiting Salem, Deidrick went on to star on MTV’s EYE CANDY, CW’s crime drama IN THE DARK, and the first season of DRIVEN for streaming site Passionflix. Wedding Season marks a return to the Hallmark Channel for Deidrick, who previously starred opposite Emily Osment in the highly-rated Christmas film A Very Merry Bridesmaid back in 2021.

Check out the preview for Wedding Season below and then tune in on Saturday, June 3, at 8 p.m. to if Ryan and Trish get a second chance at love — and perhaps even a wedding of their own!
