GENERAL HOSPITAL Is Preempted Today

Don’t be confused if you tune in and see a rerun today because GENERAL HOSPITAL has been preempted on Tuesday, Oct. 10. “Due to imminent breaking news coverage,” the soap posted to social media, “today’s scheduled episode of GH will instead air tomorrow.”

While it’s always frustrating when our favorite soaps are preempted for news or sports or what have you, there is a bright side here. Instead of forcing those who live in the areas where GH was preempted to look for it that evening on ABC.com or Hulu, ABC has simply bumped Tuesday’s episode to Wednesday.

This means that if GH does air — either in full or in part — in your area, you will see an encore episode instead. That way nobody misses out and everyone can just tune in on Wednesday, Oct. 11, where the drama will pick up right where it left off at the end of Monday’s episode.

And with Lois about to make her grand return to Port Charles, this is definitely one episode that no fan is going to want to miss! So be sure to tune in on Wednesday — and be sure to double-check your DVR to make sure it’s set to record because preemptions always play havoc with the scheduled recordings!
