General Hospital Spoilers 1/10/24: Bobbie's Memorial Begins

Have tissues at the ready because Bobbie’s memorial service is being held in today’s emotional new GENERAL HOSPITAL. Felicia and Maxie share a special moment., Tracy proposes a truce with Lucy, and people like Laura, Scott, and Carly get up to share their memories.

As everyone gathers at the church to say a final farewell to Bobbie, Maxie has a special connection to the late nurse as in her chest beats the heart of Bobbie’s daughter, Barbara Jean “B.J.” Jones. “What a blessing that you carry that moment with you,” Felicia tells her daughter with a gentle smile.

Tracy and Lucy have been at each others’ throats in recent weeks and things have occasionally gotten seriously ugly between them. But this memorial service is no place for that kind of behavior. “How about you and I, we call a truce for Bobbie,” Tracy suggests to Lucy. Unfortunately, it won’t last!

Bobbie’s coffin is brought down the aisle up to the front of the church by the pallbearers which includes Lucas, back in town for his mother’s memorial. Then it’s time for people to stand up and share some heartfelt memories of the deceased.

“Getting to know Bobbie was truly an honor,” Laura says, her voice thick with emotion. Scott declares: “Bobbie was the best of everything.” And Carly looks at the photo of her mother and cries, “The world’s a very different place without you.”
