Who Are Cornelia and Famke on GENERAL HOSPITAL?

As part of the two-episode tribute to Jacklyn Zeman and her character Bobbie Spencer airing on Wednesday, Jan. 10, and Thursday, Jan. 11, GENERAL HOSPITAL promised an unexpected guest was going to send Carly and Felicia off to Amsterdam in order to settle some unfinished business of Bobbie’s. While storyline details are still being kept strictly hush-hush, we now have some casting information to share.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Ellie Darcey-Alden will be playing the character of Cornelia, who will be part of the storyline with Carly and Felicia. Early in her career, the English actress played Harry Potter’s daughter, Lily, in the 2011 film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. She has gone on to appear in series like DOCTOR WHO and BORGIA as well as films like Pool Boy Nightmare and Children of the Cloth.

In addition, Elise Robertson will be playing the character of Famke, who will also be part of the Amsterdam storyline. Viewers might recognize this actress from any one of her numerous appearances in shows like TWO AND A HALF MEN, GILMORE GIRLS, SIX FEET UNDER, GREY’S ANATOMY, PARENTHOOD, TRUE BLOOD, 90210, THE MENTALIST, TEEN WOLF, THE POWER, and GOOD TROUBLE.

These appear to be short-term roles as Carly and Felicia interact with Cornelia and Famke while settling Bobbie’s affairs in Amsterdam over the course of these two episodes, but in soaps, you never know when someone might show up again in the future. Stay tuned to GH to see how these two characters factor into Bobbie’s final farewell and what happens next!
