Brittany Snow Announces Separation From Husband Tyler Stanaland

Sad news to report. GUIDING LIGHT alum Brittany Snow (Daisy) has announced she and her husband, Tyler Stanaland, are separating after just over two years of marriage. “After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate,” she shared on Instagram. “This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another.

“We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives,” Snow continued. “We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog, Charlie. We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”

Over on his own Instagram, Stanaland shared the same melancholy black-and-white photo of the two of them sitting together in a New York City subway car and repeated the exact same statement.

CBS Daytime fans remember Snow from her 1998-2001 run as Susan “Daisy” Lemay, a role which earned her a Young Artist Award in 2000. After leaving the soap, the talented young performer landed the starring role of Meg in the NBC primetime series AMERICAN DREAMS. She also starred as Amber Von Tussle in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Hairspray and Chloe in the Pitch Perfect movies. Her most recent role was playing Bobby-Lyne in the horror movie X.

Snow announced her engagement to realtor and professional surfer Stanaland back in February 2019, and the couple tied the knot on March 14, 2020, in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Malibu.

Please join us in wishing Snow and Stanaland all the best as they both navigate this new chapter in their lives.
