B&B’s Scott Clifton Performs His New Song!

Forget about Spotify! THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Scott Clifton (Liam) turned to his followers on Instagram to release some new music on Jan. 31. Debuting a song he titled “Cigarette Break,” Clifton sang the gritty diddy with just his acoustic guitar — and it has already racked up over 6,000 likes and been hailed by his fans and colleagues alike!

“Wrote a song,” Clifton captioned the video of him singing his new tune. “Kind of like it. Wish I didn’t have to be the one to sing it.”

“Also, I don’t smoke,” he clarified in the comments. “It’s just a metaphor.”

After listening to the performance, Clifton’s B&B co-stars jumped at the chance to sing their praises for the song. “Glad others outside your living room get to hear this,” said Matthew Atkinson (Thomas). “Do it more often, it’s good.” Meanwhile, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) added that Clifton’s new music was “amazing” and Ashley Jones (Bridget) declared that she “loved it.”

Clifton’s fans were as equally impressed with the song, and many expressed their hopes that he might be able to sing “Cigarette Break” on the soap. There’s been no official word from B&B about whether that will happen but singing on the soap is something that Clifton has done in the past.

Back in July 2016, Clifton performed “The Song That Never Played,” during a montage of Liam and Steffy scenes set in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The lyrics were written by B&B supervising producer and songwriter Casey Kasprzyk, and the actor was later asked to add his vocal talents to the song that played in the background as Liam reflected on the times he’d shared with Steffy.

In addition to his co-writing credit on that song, Clifton has released an album of original songs called Girl Go Home, which is available on iTunes, Spotify, and other retailers.
