Fans of the combined Baldwin and Fisher families on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS are in for a treat! While they haven’t been much of a presence on the soap of late, they’re definitely going to make an impression very soon!
The sudser shared a lovely family photo of Judith Chapman (Gloria), Tracey Bregman (Lauren), Christian LeBlanc (Michael), Greg Rikaart (Kevin), and Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) posing together in Society. They captioned the pic: “Spotted on the Y&R set: A family reunion.”
Everyone looks super glamorous, but what’s the occasion? Given Y&R’s shooting schedule, this reunion should air sometime in mid-to-late November, so perhaps a Thanksgiving gathering? It’s definitely too early for Christmas (despite what store shelves might indicate)!
After his initial run from 1991-93, LeBlanc returned as Michael in 1997 and has continued to play the complex character to this day. Michael has been MIA for a little bit now as he has been overseas on business (which is why Heather had to take over some of his caseload, like defending Phyllis).
Bregman joined the cast of Y&R back in 1983 and even brought her alter ego over to sister soap THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL for a few years in the mid-‘90s. In fact, Lauren’s about to make another appearance for a big fashion showdown, bringing Esther along for the ride!
Kevin was meant to be a short-term villain when Rikaart debuted as the character in 2003, but he ended up sticking around until 2017! After a short time away, the actor returned in 2019 to continue making appearances, but recently has been much busier playing Leo over on DAYS OF OUR LIVES.
Hendrickson debuted as Chloe back in 2008 and after coming and going a few times between 2014 and 2017, returned in 2019. However, after she wasn’t seen for a while, the actress took to social media to reassure her fans that she was still a member of the cast.
Gloria was originally played by Joan Van Ark in 2004 but the role was recast with Chapman in 2005 and she has delighted fans with her performances over the years. After being bumped to recurring in 2011, Chapman’s appearances have been more sporadic, but fans have enjoyed every single one.
While it’ll be nice to see the Baldwins and Fishers back together again on screen, what would be even better would be if it was for more than just a casual party. We know these characters can bring the drama, so it would be great if they had a new juicy storyline to bite into!
