Brian Gaskill Cast as Seth on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!
A familiar face is coming to Genoa City! Soap hopper Brian Gaskill is joining the cast of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS in the newly-created role of Seth!
A rep for the soap reports that the actor will appear in several episodes beginning on Monday, Jan. 8, as a man whom Nikki encounters at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Hopefully, Seth will be a good influence on Nikki and help her battle her demons now that Jordan has pushed her off the wagon and started her drinking again.
Gaskill’s television debut was in the primetime sudser MODELS INC., a 1994 spinoff of MELROSE PLACE. Then in 1995, he was cast as Bobby Warner on daytime soap ALL MY CHILDREN, a role he played until 1997.
In 2001, he played Rafe Kovich on the GENERAL HOSPITAL spinoff PORT CHARLES and remained with the soap until its final episode in 2003. He then moved back over to CBS to play Oscar Marone on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL from 2003-04 and in the fall of 2005 had a brief run as the villainous B.J. Green on AS THE WORLD TURNS.
Gaskill’s last daytime role was taking over the role of Dylan Lewis on GUIDING LIGHT from 2007-08, and he also played the recurring role of Chase Walker on the streaming soap THE BAY from 2012-15. His most recent role was starring as Paul Bachelor in the 2022 film A Bachelor’s Valentine.
