Y&R's Camryn Grimes Celebrates a Relationship Milestone

Year One in the books! THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Camryn Grimes (Mariah) marked a major relationship milestone on March 14: She and beau Brock Powell celebrated their first dating anniversary! “One year,” the Y&R Emmy winner simply captioned the stunning photo she shared on Instagram. In the black and white photo taken in an arcade, Grimes and Powell appear in vibrant color, embraced in a kiss.

Powell — a voice actor who has worked on movies, video games, and television series — shared an Instagram post of his own dedicated to his lady love. “Happy Anniversary to my one and only,” he wrote. “Being with you is like living every day in technicolor. Happy Anniversary, Red. Here’s to Season 2.”

Grimes and Powell shared a trip around the sun together!

Having met each other a year ago at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Grimes and Powell took their relationship public back in September as they shared a pair of selfies they’d taken on a trip to Sedona, Arizona. “Well, he made it on the grid,” Grimes wrote in introducing her Instagram followers to her beau. “Oh boy, this is gonna go straight to his head.” Powell was slightly more romantic in the post he shared on his Instagram feed, declaring that “My hair’s too long and life’s too short. But while everyone learned how to make sourdough bread, I went ahead and fell in love with a redhead.”

Back in January, Powell wished his girlfriend a happy birthday with a sweet social media message, sharing a drawing of a redhead Star Wars character in Grimes’ likeness. “Happy Birthday, Red,” he wrote. “It’s been the adventure of a lifetime and we’ve only just begun. You’ve expanded my galaxy, broadened my horizons, and shown me that you’re the one I’ve been looking for. So here’s to making up for lost time — 31 never looked so good, I love you Camryn.”
