Don’t Miss Lauralee Bell’s Special Y&R Anniversary Episode!

Get ready to celebrate another anniversary! Lauralee Bell is marking 40 years playing Christine Blair on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS and the soap is commemorating this remarkable achievement with a very special episode that will air on Thursday, Nov. 2!

Christine went to Portugal to see Paul and try to salvage their marriage, but when she returns to Genoa City, she’s at a crossroads both personally and professionally. Thankfully, she has friends like Danny and Nina on hand to help support her now that Michael Damian is back at Y&R and Tricia Cast is reprising her role as well. And naturally, as everyone reminisces about Christine’s history, there will be plenty of wonderful flashbacks for fans to enjoy!

The daughter of Y&R creators William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, Lauralee made her first appearance as Cricket back in July 1983, and three years later, was put on contract. Beginning in 2001, the actress moved to recurring status and continued to appear on the soap, even bringing her alter ego to sister soap THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL in 2007. In 2016, Bell was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category for her work on Y&R.

Outside of daytime, Bell has appeared in episodes of primetime series like WALKER: TEXAS RANGER, PACIFIC BLUE, CSI: MIAMI, and CASTLE. She can also be seen in TV movies like Their Killer Affair, Mistress Hunter, Nightmare Tenant, V.C. Andrews’ Ruby, and V.C. Andrews’ Pearl in the Mist.
