Kyle and Summer's Love Song From The Young and The Restless

For those of you wondering what that sexy song was that played during Summer and Kyle’s love scene at the end of the March 24 episode of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, the soap’s music supervisor, RC Cates, has the answer! (And it’s not called “Just You and I,” as some fans suspected from listening to it.) “The song is called “Hurry up & Take Our Time” by Adam James Deiboldt and Brett Berwager,” Cates announced. “It’s now officially out!”

As Kyle sprinkled rose petals onto Summer’s naked back, the song played: “Slide that dress off your shoulder, come on move a little closer. All I wanna do is hold ya, ’cause girl, it’s been a while. Since we’ve shared a little time alone, slipped away to where we wanna go, and brought it back to what we know, just you and I.” Summer declared that she’d never been happier than this, and Kyle replied, “Neither have I.”

“If you were watching Y&R this afternoon, heard my tune “Hurry up & Take Our Time” there in that last #Skyle scene and want to check it out, here’s a link [to Apple Music]!” announced Deiboldt. “It’s also on Google and Amazon Music. Spotify will be up in a bit!” The tune’s co-writer also chimed in on Twitter to express his appreciation for the positive response. “Thanks for all the love and support for this song!” Berwager said. “The scene was incredible.”
