Peter Bergman Says Jack Will Always Love Phyllis on Y&R (EXCLUSIVE)

Jack has wooed plenty of women in his life on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, but his portrayer, Peter Bergman, believes that Phyllis will always have a piece of the mogul’s heart. “She was not like any of the girls that he grew up with in the country club,” the Emmy winner smiled to Soaps In Depth. “Jack loved that this woman spoke her mind, she did not hold back. This woman was fierce and loyal and crazy, and Jack thought that was the coolest thing in the world. She wasn’t trying to be proper or mince words. She was unapologetically who she was — and Jack thought that was intoxicating.”

Whether the two characters will ever find their way back to each other is a big question mark, but Bergman believes that Red will always be the love of Jack’s life. “Oh, yeah! She’s the one that he’ll spend his life trying to get over!”
