Should Taylor Return to B&B to Help Thomas? — Matthew Atkinson Speaks Out (EXCLUSIVE)

When Thomas began having mental issues on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, some fans naturally suggested this would be the perfect time for his psychiatrist mom, Taylor, to return. “That would be great,” Matthew Atkinson (Thomas) said of the idea. “Taylor, with her background and everything, the character would be the perfect person to help him. Especially being his mother.”

Of course, the last time that Hunter Tylo returned to B&B to reprise the role of Taylor Hayes for a big storyline, it turned out that she’d shot Bill Spencer in a blind rage! “She’s obviously gone through some major issues of her own,” Atkinson noted with a smile. “Just as a person to be a sounding board would be awesome.”

Tylo was back on the canvas again in March 2019 when Atkinson took over the role of her son and the family responded to the news of Caroline’s death. “I love Hunter as a person and working with her when I first came on the show,” the actor declared. “I love working with her. So we’ll see if that happens, but I definitely think that Thomas could use some serious help right now! I think it would be great to have her back.”
