GH’s Nicholas Alexander Chavez Visits Europe — See His Amazing Pics!

Istanbul, Turkey, was the first stop on the itinerary for Chavez, who took in the sights of one of the city’s famous historic fountains.

The GH star traveled abroad with a few buddies, including his friend Adrian.

Kapalicarsi — also known as the Grand Bazaar — is one of the world’s largest and oldest covered markets. Considered one of the first shopping centers, the market spans 61 streets and has over 4,000 shops.

The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, previously known as the Great Church of Constantinople, is Turkey’s biggest tourist attraction. Initially a Greek Orthodox Church built by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian in the early 500s, it was later turned into a mosque after the Ottomans conquered the city in the 15^th century. In 1935, Hagia Sophia was open to the public as a museum but was reconverted to a mosque in 2020. “It’s beautiful here,” Chavez shared from inside the historic building in a video posted to Twitter.

He doesn’t just play a prince on TV… he dresses like one in real life! “Please enjoy the last picture of me dressed as Ottoman royalty,” Chavez wrote in the caption of his gallery of Istanbul photos.

Next up was a stop in Athens, Greece. “The Greek prince returns,” he wrote, poking fun at his GH alter ego, since the Cassadines are descended from Greek royalty.

Chavez stopped by the landmark main building of The Academy of Athens, the oldest research institution in the country.

With the lights of the city behind them, Chavez and his pals commemorated their end-of-summer trip with a photo for the ‘Gram.

No visit to Athens would be complete without visiting the historic landmarks at the ancient Acropolis complex, like the Parthenon temple and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus amphitheater. “Crazy,” Chavez said in a video clip taken at the iconic ancient citadel.

Just in time for his September 6 birthday, Chavez landed in Italy. After doing some sightseeing in Vatican City and Rome, he celebrated with his pals with a night out on the town. “Sistine Chapel and rave? Why not? You only turn 23 once, right?” he wrote.

Chavez wrapped up his Roman holiday by touring the streets of the city on a scooter and flying high above the Italian coastline. “Ciao bella!”
