They always say that revenge is a dish served cold. What they never warn you about is the fiery after effects, which is what GH’s Anna is experiencing in the wake of her decision to take the life of Duke’s killer, Carlos Rivera.
“It was difficult for me when I read that [Anna was going to kill Carlos], because I’ve always felt like Anna is someone who does the right thing,” Finola Hughes says of her alter ego’s decision. “I think Anna stands for the good, and she stands for the Every Man. But suddenly, here she was making what was probably not the best judgment call.” Hughes opens up about the controversial plot point and how she hopes her beloved character will emerge from this latest trial stronger for having made the emotional journey, all in the current ABC issue of Soaps In Depth!
