GH’s Julius Takes To The Airwaves!

Fans loved Gregory Zarian as Julius, Kate’s flamboyant assistant on GENERAL HOSPITAL. Now, the actor/model is taking on a series of equally memorable roles. First, he guest stars in the Monday, February 2, episode of ABC’s CASTLE (the one in which GH’s Brianna Brown [ex-Lisa] is the main guest star). “I play Scott Galloway, a stockbroker who’s questioned in the murder of Castle’s friend, Eva,” Zarian reveals. “I also got to work with Trent Dawson (Henry, AS THE WORLD TURNS) in the scene.”

Then on ABC Family’s CHASING LIFE, look for Zarian to play opposite Scott Michael Foster as his father’s good friend. “It’s a combative, back-and-forth scene,” Zarian relates. “In it, I’m the [jerk] who’s basically dismissing his illness. Cancer is a personal issue to me as it has greatly affected my family, so I was happy to be part of this.” The episode, titled “The Big Leagues,” airs Monday, February 16 at 9 p.m. EST.

Next, look for Zarian to make a splash in the Thursday, March 26, episode of FOX’s BONES. “I play Anthony Taylor, a handsome, perfectly dressed psychic accused of killing someone he knows,” Zarian reveals of the episode titled “The Psychic In The Soup.” “Cyndi Lauper also appears [in her recurring role as Angela’s singing psychic, Avalon Harmonica] and trashes my character. I worked with John Boyd who plays Special Agent James Aubrey. It was just way fun!”

For the actor, who’d long wanted to be a part of the hit FOX drama, finally landing the perfect part on it turned out to be worth the wait. “It truly is a cohesive group of people that love what they do, get along, and make you feel like you’re family,” he relates. “I got to sit next to [series star] Emily Deschanel in makeup, and we had a great chat about life and about me being a twin [with TV style guru Lawrence Zarian].”
