GH Star Wants Your Help!
GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Jason Cook (Matt) is hoping to direct co-star Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) in the independent short film, Genreful, and he’s looking for your help! The guys have put their movie up on Kickstarter, a funding platform for creative projects, and are hoping to get $50,000 pledged by Sunday, May 27, in order to help their dream become a short film reality.
Genreful will star Anderson as Anton, who is determined to commit suicide, but is talked down off the proverbial ledge by his neighbor, Hannah. But when her Crazy Ex (played by Jason Mewes, aka Jay from Clerks and Mallrats) later sees the two out on a date, he brutally beats Anton and kidnaps Hannah! As an injured Anton tries to rescue Hannah, the movie will shift tones, embracing the devices of drama, romantic comedy, thriller, action, horror, animation and sci-fi all at the same time!
For more information on the original movie, or to be involved in Genreful‘s production from the ground up, visit the project’s Kickstarter page.
