Kristen and Eddie Alderson Mourn the Death of Their Grandmother

Please join us in sending love to Kristen Alderson (ex-Kiki, GENERAL HOSPITAL; Starr, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) and Eddie Alderson (Matthew, OLTL), who are mourning the loss of their grandmother. “Five days after taking this picture with my Mom-Mom (my dad’s mom) at her big 90th birthday party, she peacefully passed away,” Kristen reported on Instagram. “What a gift to have all of these years and memories with the most strong, independent, family-oriented, and loving grandmom.

“I feel so grateful that we (14 of her immediate family) were able to stand around her hospital bed with her on Sunday night and talk and laugh with her for what would be our last time,” she continued. “It was truly magical, and so was she. I know that you and Pop-Pop are together again and happier than ever! Love you forever and ever, Mom-Mom!”

Eddie also shared a lovely photo of himself with his grandmother as well as some heartfelt words on her passing. “From celebrating your 90th birthday party just one week ago to now having to say goodbye to you just doesn’t seem real,” he admitted. ” I will miss you and cherish the 25 years of memories I had with you for the rest of my life. I hope you and Pop-Pop are dancing on the beach somewhere up there.”
