What Happened to Nicole on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL

Nicole on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL had quite the dramatic run on the soap, but new viewers might not be aware of all of it, so that’s where we come in! The character first appeared on B&B in January 2015 and was played by actress Reign Edwards until her exit in January 2018. Although she did pop back for a holiday visit, so who knows what the future may hold!

When Nicole Avant arrived in Los Angeles in 2015, she knew her sister, Maya Avant’s secret, which was that she was born Myron and actually a transgender woman. Nicole happily kept quiet so she and her sister could reconnect and bond. But Wyatt Fuller knew she was hiding something and flirted with Nicole to try and get the secret out of her. He thought it was something Rick Forrester was hiding, but when Nicole finally revealed Maya’s truth, he quickly ran to Bill and had it published to hurt Rick. Nicole was horrified at his betrayal, but thankfully, Maya had come clean to Rick herself and they were able to put everything behind them and get married.

Becoming an intern at Forrester Creations, the young woman was attracted to fellow newbie Zende Forrester Dominguez, not realizing he was actually a Forrester himself. Their budding romance hit a very minor snag when Thomas Forrester kissed Nicole, but it didn’t mean anything and Zende ignored it to continue pursuing a future with her.

Rick and Maya wanted to start a family, and Nicole was happy to pay back her sister by acting as a surrogate to carry their child. Zende was supportive of her decision, but once Nicole was actually pregnant with another man’s child, he became uncomfortable and distant. Ultimately, they split up and Zende began dating Nicole’s friend, Sasha, who was later revealed to be Nic’s half-sister!

After Lizzie’s birth, Zende returned to Nicole, but when she considered carrying another child for Rick and Maya, he had another fling with Sasha, one which Nicole had a harder time getting over. But eventually, Zende’s romantic overtures won her over, and they were married on Valentine’s Day in a lavish ceremony.

However, their dreams of having a family of their own were dashed when Nicole struggled to become pregnant and learned from her doctor that she may be infertile due to uterine scarring. When a problem was discovered in Lizzy’s adoption papers, Julius Avant took advantage of his daughter’s fragile emotional state to press her not to sign and to take the baby girl back from Maya and Rick. Thankfully, everyone else was able to convince Nicole to do the right thing.

Nicole continued to remain close to Lizzy, which grew a little concerning to Maya and Zende. so when a job opened up at Forrester International, Zende and Maya moved to Paris to get away. Nicole did come back for a brief visit at Thanksgiving to reunite with her family, but in September 2020, Zende returned to Los Angeles solo. Might Nicole come home again? Only time will tell!
