Please join us in congratulating Robert Scott Wilson on his tenth anniversary at DAYS OF OUR LIVES! The actor marked the occasion by sharing a couple of pictures on Instagram with the caption: “10 years. ⏳ Cheers.” The first was him on the red carpet at the annual Day of Days fan event and the second was a mirror selfie in his dressing room with his feet up and raising his mug in a toast.

Wilson got his big break when he won the audience vote and was cast as the first male spokesmodel on THE PRICE IS RIGHT back in 2012. He appeared on the CBS game show through the spring of 2014 and even helped mentor the guys auditioning to be his replacement.

His first soap role came in 2013 when he was cast as the new Pete Cortland on ALL MY CHILDREN when it was revived as a streaming soap for The OnLine Network. Sadly, that revival came before streaming became popular, and was short-lived. But Wilson was snatched up by DAYS to take over the role of Ben Weston, previously played by Justin Gaston. He debuted in April 2014, but as the character was revealed to be the “Necktie Killer,” Ben was written out by December 2015.

Wilson continued to reprise the role of Ben for brief appearances and then was brought back to the canvas full-time in 2017 where the character was redeemed and his romance with Ciara became a fan-favorite, earning the couple nickname “Cin.” Unfortunately, when Ciara’s portrayer, Victoria Konefal, opted to exit the soap, Wilson’s Ben left town with her and their son, Bo.

However, just weeks after Ben’s departure, DAYS quickly brought Wilson back to the soap in a new role, Alexander “Alex” Kiriakis, and he has been playing this character since July 2022! Alex has been swept up in all kinds of drama since he returned to Salem, so stay tuned to see what happens next. Here’s to another 10 years! “The journey continues!” Wilson declared.
