Chad Brannon Shares Pics From His Return to GENERAL HOSPITAL
Fans may have been surprised to learn that Chad Brannon was coming back to GENERAL HOSPITAL, but they were also excited. Just as much as the actor himself! “It’s true!” he confirmed when the news was announced. “Cat’s out of the bag… I’m heading back to GH!”
Brannon, who played Zander Smith from 2000-04, was scheduled to return to the soap’s set on Feb. 12. And on Feb. 15, he shared a little video selfie he took in the studio parking lot. “Welp, walking to someplace a little familiar,” Brannon said with a smile as he panned the camera around to show the front of the building with a sign reading “General Hospital” above “Emergency.” “Oh boy! GH, here we come! Well, I guess they share with GREY’S ANATOMY. Isn’t that nice! Here we go!”
Along with his video, Brannon also shared a few photos. There are two pics of GH logos, one old-school with the iconic image of the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center that served as the credits in the ‘70s and ‘80s, and another of the red letters hanging on the white wall of the studio. He also snapped a selfie outside, but unfortunately the exterior of the building was currently dressed with the sign for Grey & Sloan Memorial Hospital, making it look like he’s going to be doing a guest turn on GREY’S ANATOMY instead of returning to Port Charles!
Brannon hasn’t been seen on GH since making a brief cameo appearance in 2009 to help escort Natalia Livingston’s character of Rebecca off the canvas. The two were very popular as Zander and Emily, but both of those characters were dead, and still are. The soap has been very hush-hush as to who Brannon will be playing this time. Zander’s ghost? Zander back from the dead? Another look-alike? You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out!
