Don’t Miss Carolyn Hennesy on NCIS!
Want to see more of GENERAL HOSPITAL scene stealer Carolyn Hennesy (Diane)? Well, you’re in luck because the talented actress is guest-starring in an episode of NCIS airing on Monday, Nov. 14, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS!
In the episode titled “Love Lost,” Hennesy will be playing the role of Tara Flynn, the Secretary of the Navy. And it’s a major role because the NCIS team is investigating her after her husband claims she tried to murder him! But is that really what’s going on here?
Hennesy became a fan favorite when she joined GH as attorney Diane Miller back in 2006, and has continued playing the role on a recurring basis ever since, earning two Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her work on the soap. In fact, viewers were incredibly nervous that she was leaving the soap when Diane was nearly killed by The Hook in a recent episode!
The actress’ extensive resume includes roles on primetime series like DAWSON’S CREEK, THAT ‘70S SHOW, COUGAR TOWN, TRUE BLOOD, REVENGE, and JESSIE. She’s also done voice work on animated series like BIG NATE and voicing Princess Leia in Star Wars cartoons. Hennesy also recently wrapped filming on an upcoming horror movie titled Wineville.
