GENERAL HOSPITAL Alum Briana Lane Releases New Music!

Here’s some new music from GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Briana Lane (ex-Brook Lynn) to lift up your weekend! “Our track, ‘Either Way,’ is out now!” she shared on Instagram. “Mixed by production wizard Shane Stoneback and written during peak pandemic daze, dreaming of a make-believe world of more alluring times.”

When Lane filled in for a pregnant Amanda Setton on GH, Brook Lynn was slashed in the throat just before she could sing at the annual Nurses Ball, which is a shame, because the actress has quite a lovely voice! She and partner Darian Zahedi form the indie pop/rock duo, and their first single, “Bad,” was released in September 2020. In spring 2021, their debut track was featured in an episode of Mindy Kaling’s coming-of-age series NEVER HAVE I EVER on Netflix.

The multi-talented performer is also in another indie-pop duo called Winslow, with bandmate Kate Miner. “Origami Tiger,” the last single off their self-titled EP was featured in the indie film Luce, starring Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer. Lane has still continued to act as well, following up her Daytime Emmy Award-nominated guest turn on GH with an appearance as a doctor to aliens in the most recent season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY.
