GENERAL HOSPITAL Preempted on June 25

Soaps being interrupted for breaking news coverage is always frustrating for the loyal viewers, but sometimes the interruptions can be planned for. GENERAL HOSPITAL will be preempted on Friday, June 25, so don’t be confused if the soap is airing on your network and you get a sense of deja vu! “Due to a scheduled news report, today’s GH will be an encore airing of our Emmy-nominated episode celebrating the Women’s Suffrage movement,” the soap shared on social media.

This episode of GH originally aired on Nov. 2 and featured Josslyn and Trina learning how important voting is and how Josslyn’s great-great-grandmother, Beatrice Eckert was a suffragist who fought for getting women the right to vote. During the show, Josslyn and Trina find themselves transported back in time where familiar faces portray all-new characters from Port Charles’ history.

It’s no wonder that this special episode of GH was Emmy-nominated, and the soap reminds everyone to make sure to watch the Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday evening on CBS to see how many trophies GH takes home!

And don’t worry, GH will be back with another all-new episode on Monday, June 28 to pick up right where the action left off on Thursday, so you won’t miss a single episode!
