General Hospital Spoilers 12/23/21: Sonny Takes the Stand!

Spencer may technically be dating Esme, but he is still clearly drawn to Trina. “I wish I could see myself through your eyes,” he admits to her at Kelly’s. Meanwhile, at home, Josslyn warns Cameron that while she’ll accept Esme’s presence in their lives, “I’m not changing my opinion about her.” And someone opens the door to Esme announcing: “The absolute worst thing has happened!”

Victor has been getting his ducks in a row in Port Charles, and whatever he’s got planned, he wants to make sure there are no disruptions. “Don’t get in my way,” he warns Obrecht. But when has she ever done as she’s been told?

Now that she’s back home, Laura is catching up on what she missed while she was in hiding. And suspecting Victor is up to something, she naturally quizzes Nikolas on how much he knows about it. “Does your involvement go… deeper?” she wonders.

Having finally been released from prison, Shawn is putting his life back together and has taken over The Invader to use the paper for good. However, there may be an unexpected hurdle he needs to overcome first when he opens the door to Dante. “It’s official police business,” the cop announces.

As Nina’s hearing begins, she’s a bundle of nerves. “What are my chances of avoiding a trial?” she asks Scott. And as witnesses are called to testify, Sonny takes the stand where Scott grills him. “Why didn’t you press charges?” the attorney demands to know. Will Sonny’s testimony help or hurt Nina’s case?
