GH Spoilers 9/16/21: Carly and Jason's Wedding Begins!

The wedding drama escalates in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Olivia refuses to listen to Ned, Trina opens up to Cameron, Spinelli is keeping secrets, Vincent Novak talks to Jason, and Maxie gets the ceremony underway. But don’t forget about the action in Nixon Falls!

Peter tied up Nina and Phyllis and set fire to the Tan-O, leaving them for dead but “Mike” and Jax managed to rescue them. Unfortunately, while Jax managed to get Phyllis to safety, when Nina emerged from the flames, she was alone! “Mike is still in there!” she screams at Jax, who refuses to let her risk her life to save him. Will Jax play hero or will “Mike” make it out himself? And if he does, will it be “Mike” or Sonny who is reborn from the fire?

As the guests take their seats and wait for the wedding to begin, little pockets of drama are being stirred up among them. Like Olivia, who refuses to admit that Austin might be right about her son, Leo, needing to see a specialist. “He may be on to something,” Ned suggests. However, his wife simply rolls her eyes. Can he get Olivia to see the truth?

Gladys arrives at the church the plus-one of invited guest Vincent Novak, who listens as she chats with her son. “Jason deserves his share as well,” Brando admits. Then, Vincent makes his way to the groom and it seems like he’s putting on quite the act. “That almost sounded like an apology,” Jason remarks. But what are the Five Families (now three, technically) planning for this wedding?

Cameron can see that Trina is upset about something, and tries to get her to open up. “Let’s just say… it’s been quite a day,” she confides. Will she tell him the whole story? And sitting in a pew, Spinelli looks up at Diane and whispers: “I can neither confirm nor deny.” The attorney snarks, “Right,” as she is clearly still going to try and get the information out of him one way or another!

Josslyn and Bobbie have helped Carly get ready, and now that the bride is in her wedding dress and the guests are assembled in the church, the ceremony is about to begin! “Let’s get this show on the road,” Maxie announces. But will the wedding — or the reception — manage to go off without a hitch? Come on, this is Port Charles! Of course not!
