GENERAL HOSPITAL Spoilers: Did Sonny Survive?

Port Charles won’t be having a very merry Christmas if these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers are any indication! After the shocking bridge collapse, Sonny’s life hangs in the balance, and when a body is recovered, everyone fears the worst!

Having ditched the cops at the bus station in New Jersey, Jason reached the nearby bridge shortly after Sonny’s struggle with a weakened Julian. As the two men fought over Sonny’s gun, Julian was shot again and appeared dead. But then things took an unexpected turn as the bridge suddenly collapsed right before Jason’s eyes, sending Sonny and Julian plummeting down into the darkness below. “Sonny!” Jason shouts, horrified. Climbing up on the railing of the bridge, Jason leaps into the cold, dark water to try and rescue his friend. 

But later, a policeman stands on the river’s edge under the bridge holding his walkie-talkie. “Bring the body here,” he says grimly. But whose corpse is being placed in that body bag? Has Jason lost his best friend and Carly her husband? Or could they have recovered Julian’s body instead? And if that’s the case, then what happened to Sonny? Where could he be?
