GH’s Lexi Ainsworth Cast on NCIS!
Viewers have been seeing a bit more of Kristina lately on GENERAL HOSPITAL but if anyone who is still looking for more can look forward to seeing Lexi Ainsworth guest-starring in an upcoming episode of the CBS primetime series NCIS! “Hii, NCIS,” the actress captioned a pic she shared in her Instagram stories.
The headshot of Ainsworth has a sticker on it that reveals she will be playing Holly Lygnos in episode #459, which will be titled “Second Opinion.” NCIS, which revolves around a team of special agents working for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, is currently in the middle of its 20th season.
Ainsworth joined the cast of GH in 2009 to play the SORAS-ed daughter of Sonny and Alexis. Although the role was recast with Lindsey Morgan from 2012-13, Ainsworth reprised her role in 2015 and has continued to make appearances on the soap to this day. For her work, she has earned two Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Younger Actress and took home the trophy in 2017.
While working at GH, the actress has also been able to squeeze in quite a bit of moonlighting, appearing in primetime series like CRIMINAL MINDS, COUGAR TOWN, iZOMBIE, TEEN WOLF, RIZOLLI & ISLES, MAJOR CRIMES, and SHAMELESS. She can also be seen in movies like So This Is Christmas, Death Clique, and Obsession: Her Final Vengeance.
