Ryan Paevey Suits Up for a Romantic New Movie!

Just in time for football season, former GENERAL HOSPITAL star Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan) will have you rooting for a romantic reunion in the new film Fourth Down and Love, airing Saturday, September 9, on Hallmark Channel! Part of the network’s annual “Fall Into Love” programming event, the original movie teams Paevey with another Hallmark staple, Pascale Hutton, one of the stars of the channel’s hit drama series WHEN CALLS THE HEART.

Hutton’s Erin is a single mom to 12-year-old Kiera, who plays in the town’s junior flag football league. At one of the practices, Erin is blindsided when she runs into Coach Jimmy’s brother Mike — her college sweetheart! Now a professional football player, Mike is visiting his brother while recovering from an injury that may steal his dream of finally getting a championship ring. But when Jimmy gets the chance to coach at the high school, Mike steps in to lead the flag football team.

Despite Erin’s hesitance to get involved with her ex again, old sparks are rekindled as she and Mike spend time together. Then, right before the flag team’s championship game, Mike receives good news… but also an unsettling truth. Will Erin go after what she wants and get a romance replay with her college love?

The cast of the sporty second-chance romance also includes Dan Payne as Jimmy and Sophia Powers as Kiera. Since exiting GH in February 2018, Paevey has solidified his status as a leading man for Hallmark, starring in 13 films for the network and even inking a multi-movie deal in May 2022.
