GH Alum Sydney Mikayla Stars in the New Transformers Series!

Tags:

Although GENERAL HOSPITAL fans were disappointed when Sydney Mikayla left the role of Trina to focus on her schoolwork, the talented actress hasn’t left show business behind for good! She had previously declared that “acting will always be a part of my life” and sure enough, she’s starring in the upcoming animated series TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK, premiering this fall on Paramount+!

“Nickelodeon’s new series, TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK is here to rock your nostalgic socks off!” Mikayla announced when she shared a trailer for the show on Instagram. “Streaming this fall on Paramount+. So grateful to play ‘Robby’ in this incredible series, coming soon!”

That’s Mikayla’s character on the right!

In TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK, the GH alum voices Robby Malto, who along with his sister, Mo, discover a strange object in a cave that gives them robotic gauntlets linking them with Twitch and Thrash, the first Transformers ever born on Earth. The kids adopt the robots into their family and work with the Autobots to battle against threats both Decepticon and human.

The series cast also includes Zion Broadnax as Mo, Alan Tudyk as Optimus Prime, Rory McCann as Megatron, Deidrich Bader as Mandroid, and Danny Pudi as Bumblebee. Mikayla is no stranger to animation, having done voice work for shows like THE LOUD HOUSE, WE BARE BEARS, KIPO AND THE AGE OF WONDERBEASTS, THE BARBARIAN AND THE TROLL, and CRAIG OF THE CREEK.
