Robin Strasser Meets Kristen Alderson’s Baby — See The Sweet Pic!

When Kristen Alderson was first cast as ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s Starr Manning, she was just six years old — practically a baby! Playing the great-niece of OLTL icon Dorian Lord, Alderson grew up on the ABC soap sharing many scenes with daytime legend Robin Strasser, and the two women developed a close personal relationship off-screen. So it was a very special moment for both when Strasser recently met Alderson’s precious new baby girl, Kiera Sky!

Strasser, who lives in New York, and her best friend, John, traveled to suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on March 24 to visit the Aldersons and spend the day with Kiera, her mom, and grandma, Kathy.

Alderson — who went on to bring Starr to GENERAL HOSPITAL and later created the role of Kiki on that soap — shared a sweet photo of the group on social media. “Look who came to visit today!” she gushed. “Robin and I got all misty-eyed when she met Kiera today. Robin is such a special person in my life. It means so much to me that we’re as close as we are. She’s just the best.”

Strasser seemed to be absolutely smitten with the beautiful little girl, whose daddy is Alderson’s fiancé, Taylor Crusore. “Kiera’s a very happy baby,” she raved. “Being around her makes others happy. That baby smiles! She sleeps happy! She was born into the Alderson family — she knows she’s a loved/lucky kidlette.

“I’ve been smiling since I met her,” Strasser added. “I’m a big softie for babies, but what a doll Kiera is!”

The soap legend also expressed her thanks for the decades of friendship she shares with Alderson and her mom. “I’m so grateful for my ongoing friendship with Kris and Kathy,” Strasser confessed. “Amazing women and loyal friends!”

Strasser isn’t the first of Alderson’s former OLTL co-stars to make the trip to Pennsylvania to meet Kiera. Her bestie, Brittany Underwood (Langston), recently spent a week with the family and was there to celebrate Kiera’s one-month birthday! We’re sure as Kiera grows up, there are going to be many more special moments just like those!

“A great day of laughs and a great brunch spread,” Alderson concluded.
