Adrienne Frantz Mourns the Loss of TV Mom Andrea Evans

When veteran soap star Andrea Evans passed away on July 9, the daytime community was heartbroken. Many of the actress’ former co-stars and friends shared beautiful memories of Evans on social media, and one of the most touching came from Adrienne Frantz. 

The two worked together on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL where Frantz played Amber Moore, and Evans was cast as her mother, Tawny. But the bond between the two women carried on well past the walls of the soap’s studio.

“I lost my TV mom yesterday!” Frantz shared on Instagram. “I am in shock and beyond devastated! Andrea may have been cast as my mom when I was 18 but she became my mom! Never did I ever think of her as a friend, only family!

“I will miss her beautiful, infectious positivity!” she continued. “Her love of life! Going on trips to Disneyland together which was her favorite place to be! She was at every birthday party, bridal shower, baby shower, and wedding just as Mom!”

And now that her extended family has lost one of its beloved members, the B&B alum is crushed. “There will forever be an empty spot in my heart,” she admitted. “Even now as I am writing this I can still feel her beautiful positive spirit around me! Everyone who truly knew her was blessed by this beautiful soul! I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of her life!

“I hope you are enjoying the Disneyland of the sky,” Frantz concluded. “Save a seat for me on Winnie the Pooh! I will forever love you, Mom!”
