B&B Alum Katrina Bowden is Engaged to Adam Taylor!
A romantic vacation to Italy got a lot more romantic for THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL alum Katrina Bowden (ex-Flo) when her beau, musician Adam Taylor, popped the question! “Happy to announce… we are no longer dating,” the couple announced in a joint Instagram post on Sept. 24.
Bowden and Taylor, the bassist for the reggae/pop group Iration, spent her Sept. 19 birthday exploring Rome before heading to the seaside city of Portofino on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. In a follow-up to their exciting engagement news, the glowing bride-to-be went into further detail about how her longtime boyfriend proposed. “Adam rented a boat for the day,” she shared. “We found a small, totally empty beach, anchored, and swam ashore with a dry bag to hang for a while.”
That’s when Taylor got creative to surprise his lady love. “He set up a mini tripod to take a photo of us since all we have are selfies so far,” Bowden explained. When Taylor returned to his girlfriend, he got down on one knee instead of standing by her side “and gave me the most special, surprising, beautiful moment.”
The romantic proposal brought the actress to tears. “I cried like an absolute loser. Also, the ring blinded me, so my eyes were in pain,” Bowden wrote, adding the laugh-out-loud emoji to her confession.
All in all, the future Mrs. Taylor concluded, it was the “happiest, most perfect day of my life.”
Bowden made her B&B debut as Flo in January 2019. She was involved in multiple front-burner storylines until she last appeared in July 2021, shortly after getting engaged to her high school boyfriend, Wyatt. Although Flo was mentioned in a June 2022 episode, it’s been years since Bowden was seen on the soap — but she’s presumably still engaged to Wyatt since there’d been no mention of the couple having split. Hopefully, Bowden and Taylor won’t have quite as long an engagement!
