Christel Khalil Celebrates Her “Beautiful” Baby Shower!
Back in June, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Christel Khalil (Lily) revealed that she was expecting her second child, her first with fiancé Sam Restagno. And while the actress has kept a low profile on social media regarding her pregnancy, she did share breathtaking photos from her recent baby shower!
The beautiful party took place on Oct. 14 at The Draycott, a restaurant in Pacific Palisades, California, where the couple were feted by family and friends. “I’ve got real love for these people,” the glowing mom-to-be gushed on Instagram, where she shared a Reel of photos from photographer Nikki Finnin set to the tune “Real Love Baby” by Father John Misty.
The slideshow began with a photo of the delicious menu set for the party, then transitioned to the gorgeous tablescape, which included festive green and white balloons, fresh floral arrangements on a long table, and a canopy of flowers above. The next image was a closeup of Khalil cradling her bump, swathed in a floral print blue dress in honor of the baby boy she’s carrying in her belly, before panning to a sweet family shot of the actress with Restagno and her 13-year-old son, Michael Caden, from her previous marriage.
Finnian also captured sweet moments of the couple posing with guests, Khalil and Restagno opening gifts for their son, the detailed flower-adorned cake, and candid images from the party. “Such a blast celebrating our new little one coming to the family,” Khalil wrote, thanking Finnian “for capturing the true essence of what a beautiful day it was!”
Among the guests at the baby shower were Khalil’s Y&R co-stars Amelia Heinle (Victoria), Courtney Hope (Sally), and Bryton James (Devon), who is Michael’s godfather. “So fun! Loved celebrating you,” Hope gushed to her co-star.
