Y&R Spoilers — A Huge Anniversary Celebration!
Four decades ago, Eric Braeden made his debut as Victor Newman and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS was never the same! The soap will be celebrating the daytime legend’s 40th anniversary with a trio of special episodes airing from Tuesday, Feb. 18 to Thursday, Feb. 20. “I am enormously grateful to the writers and my fellow actors, and most importantly, to [Y&R co-creator] Bill Bell,” Braden said.
During the three can’t-miss episodes, viewers will be treated to classic clips of Victor’s most memorable moments, some dating all the way back to 1980, when Braden made his first appearance on the soap in the Feb. 8 episode.
Beginning with the Tuesday, Feb. 18, episode, Nikki will be hosting a gala event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Newman Enterprises, and the guest list will be full of familiar faces from Victor’s present… and his past! Look for Robert Adamson to return as Noah Newman, Meg Bennett to reprise her role of Victor’s first wife, Julia Newman, and Robert Parucha will be back as his brother, Matt Miller.
So make sure you set your DVR to record these three future classics (and maybe not to erase them!) and for more from Braeden about his 40th anniversary, don’t miss his exclusive interview in the new CBS edition of Soaps In Depth magazine, on sale now!
