Fans have been eagerly waiting for Lily to come home to Genoa City and now it’s finally happening! Back in the middle of February, Christel Khalil revealed that she was back at work at THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, and now the show has revealed that she will first air during the week of March 11!

Khailil first joined the cast of Y&R back in 2022, and after she left in 2005, the role was recast with Davetta Sherwood. However, Khalil returned to play Lily in 2006 and continued to appear until 2018 when she opted to drop to recurring status with the soap. After popping in for the occasional visit, the actress returned full-time in August 2020.

Lily was last seen in December 2023 when she left town to visit her daughter, Mattie, who was upset after wildfires damaged her school. In real life, Khalil needed the time off work to welcome her son with fiancé Sam Restagno. While the mom shared some photos from her beautiful baby shower, she has yet to reveal anything about her new baby.

Y&R Daniel Lily

During Lily’s absence, Daniel reconnected with his ex, Heather, and they ended up sleeping together. He decided to be honest about his feelings and come clean, but didn’t want to add to everything else Lily was going through so he decided to wait until she came home to tell her the truth.

So unfortunately for Daniel, that day is right around the corner! Don’t miss Lily’s big return next week on Y&R and the drama that explodes when she finds out what she missed!
