Mishael Morgan Celebrates Christmas With a Kiss!

The beautiful Mishael Morgan (Amanda, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) got to star in not one, but two Christmastime movies this holiday season! Last month, the Daytime Emmy winner got to be an action star in the BET+ movie Sworn Justice: Taken Before Christmas. And now, on Sunday, Dec. 3, she gets to play a woman with two very handsome suitors in the Hallmark Channel Mahogany Original Movie, Christmas With a Kiss!

Morgan headlines the romantic new film as Mona, a New York City social media ambassador who has been rather unlucky in love as of late. Shortly before Christmas, Mona leaves Manhattan and returns to her family’s farm upstate to help her parents prepare for the annual Christmas carnival, founded by her great-grandfather. According to Sinclair family lore, one will find everlasting love if they kiss their date under the mistletoe during the carnival’s closing-night dance. Even though the Christmas kiss worked for her parents and her sister, Erin, Mona is skeptical — and Erin is determined to play matchmaker.

While home for the holidays, Mona runs into her ex, Fletcher — now a local firefighter — and old sparks between them are rekindled. She has a much cooler connection with Dez, a reporter doing a story on the Sinclair family and the carnival for a prominent online magazine. As Mona shares her favorite family traditions with Fletcher, romantically, and with Dez, for his story, unexpected feelings develop… and Mona suddenly has two suitors vying for her attention! When her parents then present her with another decision that could change everything, Mona has the opportunity to live a life she loves, with the love of her life — she just has to choose the right guy as her date for the dance and kiss him under the mistletoe!

The bi-coastal Morgan, who splits her time between Toronto and Los Angeles, didn’t have to travel too for the project: Christmas With a Kiss was filmed back in October in Milton, Ontario, which is only about an hour and a half from Toronto! “What a fun shoot this was,” the Y&R fan favorite gushed on Instagram while promoting the film.
