THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Preview: Sally and Adam Toast to the Future

The new year could be looking brighter for Sally and Adam this week on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. Plus, when Ashley and Cole reunite, who knows what might happen? But Nikki knows what will happen if Victor sees her drunk… can Lauren help?

Sally and Adam have slowly been inching back together, and although still hesitant, it looks as though they might finally be willing to give their love a second chance. “To us,” Adam declares, raising his glass in a toast. Sally smiles and raises her own glass, repeating: “To us.” Could they possibly make it work a second time around or will they fall prey to the same mistakes they made the first time?

At Crimson Lights, Cole and Ashley share a warm embrace. “You’re more beautiful than ever,” Cole declares as they separate and he takes her in. Ashley thanks him for the compliment then marvels at running into him. “This is a face I never thought I’d see again,” she says. “What brings you back to our fair city?” 

At the CGAC, Lauren finds Nikki stumbling around drunk and worries for her friend. Of course, Nikki is more worried about what Victor will do if he sees her in this state. “I can’t go home,” she drunkenly cries to Lauren. “Victor can’t see me.” As Nikki loses her balance and almost goes over, Lauren reaches out to steady her. “Okay, alright,” she whispers. “Look. I have an idea.” What does Lauren have in mind? And while it might help keep Nikki safe from Victor, it won’t help get her back on the wagon…
