Nina would love nothing more than for Chance to give up his job as chief of police so he will no longer be putting his life in danger on a daily basis. However, he doesn’t seem as eager to leave law enforcement. Will Jill’s offer make a difference? “Come to work with me at Chancellor-Winters,” she proposes over coffee at Crimson Lights. “Honey, I will teach you the ropes of the business world.” But is Chance even slightly tempted?
Abby enters Society to see the Fisher-Baldwin clan assembled for Thanksgiving. “Well, it is so good to see all of you,” she declares happily. “Michael, Gloria, I’m glad that you’re home. And I’m glad you kept her out of prison.” Kevin and Chloe chuckle as Gloria lifts her head slightly off the edge of the couch and gives Abby a half-hearted wave. Guess that jet lag is hitting her pretty hard!
Kidnapped by Claire and Jordan, Nikki awoke to find herself hooked up to an IV. And when she realized she’d been given alcohol, she was horrified to be tempted by the bottle of vodka they’d left in her room. Unable to resist temptation, the alcoholic takes a deep swig of liquor before loosening her grip on the bottle and dropping it to the floor beside her where it shatters.
“Oh God,” Nikki cries as she staggers back towards the bed to bury her head in the pillow. “What have I done?” Can she find a way back to herself so she can escape or will she have to wait for someone to rescue her? Because given that no one knows where she is, that could take a while!
