Y&R and B&B Preempted for March Madness

Don’t panic when you wonder why THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL aren’t on and you see college basketball instead. It’s just time for the annual March Madness preemptions interrupting the soaps for a couple of days! Although the coronavirus outbreak last year canceled the tournament this year, Y&R and B&B will not be seen on Friday, March 19, or Monday, March 22 because CBS Sports will be broadcasting NCAA Basketball.

While fans may be upset at missing out on the drama for a couple of days, Y&R decided to have a little fun with it, shooting a special promo with Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) and Joshua Morrow (Nick) doing a fake scene where Nick makes a startling confession that Phyllis definitely wasn’t expecting. It’s worth watching if only to see Stafford struggle a bit to keep a straight face at the end when it gets really silly!

Luckily for soap fans, the interruption will only be for two days and Y&R and B&B will both be back on the air with brand-new episodes on Tuesday, March 23, to continue the drama. So you’ll just have to wait a little longer to find out what’s really going on with Rey, the latest on Chelsea’s scheme to get revenge on Adam, whether or not Hope will give Liam another chance, and if Finn and Steffy can really make a future together!

So enjoy your two days off and get ready for the action to resume right where it left off on Tuesday!
