Is Lawrence Saint-Victor Leaving THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL?

Tags:

The news that Rena Sofer would be exiting as THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Quinn at the end of the month has viewers worried about the future of her leading man, Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter), with the soap. But B&B fans can rest easy because it appears that Saint-Victor will be sticking around with the soap!

While Saint-Victor hasn’t yet publicly commented on his status with the show, remarks shared on social media yesterday indicate that there is more to come for his alter ego. After Sofer announced that she’d decided to leave the soap, she made an Instagram post with several photos from the good-bye party thrown in her honor on her last day of taping. In the comments of the gallery, Saint-Victor had some sweet words to say to his co-star. “I’m so blessed to have worked with you,” he wrote, punctuating his statement with multiple heart emojis. “Thank you for your talent, your desire, and your friendship. XOXO.”

Then came the hint that Saint-Victor’s status with the show was safe. “I was the blessed one!” Sofer directly replied to her on-screen beau. “And I will miss you as well, but I hope you will be keeping my old dressing room safe for me!”

Saint-Victor joined the cast of B&B in January 2013 as Carter Walton, the adopted brother of Marcus Forrester, following his 2006-’09 stint on GUIDING LIGHT as Remy Boudreaux. In addition to his work in front of the camera, Saint-Victor has multiple credits to his name for sitting behind the camera as well. In 2009, he wrote, produced, and directed the web series WED LOCKED, co-starring Karla Mosley (ex-Maya, B&B), and the following year he wrote and co-directed a short film titled The Forgiven. Saint-Victor even has some B&B writing credits on his resume, having co-written multiple episodes of the soap over the years.

“So this happened!” Saint-Victor proudly shared on social media at the time. “An episode that I had the privilege of writing aired today. It was such a learning experience. Thank you, [headwriter/executive producer] Brad Bell for giving me the opportunity, and to our amazing writers and the entire team for all of your support.”

As previously reported, Sofer’s final air date is slated for Monday, August 29. Stay tuned to see how Quinn’s departure will affect her recent reunion with Carter!
