Denise Richards Returns to The Bold and The Beautiful

It’s been a while since viewers have seen Shauna Fulton, but that’s about to change when Denise Richards returns to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL!

Richards joined the cast back in April 2019, but the last time she appeared on B&B was in November 2021 when Shauna visited the Forrester mansion to support Quinn as she struggled with the knowledge that Eric was feeling… inspired by Donna instead of her. Now, Soap Opera Digest is reporting in their new issue that the actress will be reprising her role in the episode airing on Thursday, Oct. 20.

Given that Rena Sofer has left B&B, Shauna will not be sharing scenes with Quinn this time around. Instead, she will be answering questions about what happened to her BFF and why she skipped town. “Carter can’t even begin to process his grief until he figures out why Quinn left,” Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) told the magazine. “He figures that maybe the one person who may have some information would be Shauna.”

Since Carter and Quinn were happily reunited shortly before Sofer made her exit from the soap, fans have been wondering how the writers would deal with the situation, and now it appears we have our answer. While a recast could still be in the cards at some point in the future, it seems Quinn is simply being written off the canvas for now.

So stay tuned to see if Shauna can give Carter the answers and closure he seeks, and what the guy ends up doing with his life now that he’s suddenly single again!
