GENERAL HOSPITAL Alum Chloe Lanier Shows Off Her Fiery New Red Hair!
Viewers of GENERAL HOSPITAL remember Chloe Lanier as quite the firecracker when she played Nelle on the soap, and now the actress has the hair to match! The former blonde made a rare post on Instagram to show off her strawberry blonde locks! “I barely post so here’s a series of pictures of my face among other things,” she captioned her carousel. “In my redhead era thanks to my incredibly talented friend Nicole Forte.”
In addition to her selfie where her furry jacket matches her hair, Lanier included a mirror selfie, a New York City street at night, a still of Leonardo DiCaprio in the 2010 film Shutter Island, and finally a shot of her and BFF. “Hayley Erin (ex-Kiki, GH, now Claire on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) and I did a thing…” she teased. And whatever that particular project is, Erin’s the one showing off a new look with her short black bob wig!
Lanier actually made her GH debut back in 2015 playing a young Pat Spencer in a very special flashback anniversary episode. She then joined the cast in August 2016 as the newly-created character Nelle Hayes, who was later revealed to be Nelle Benson, Carly’s long-lost sister. During her time playing the schemer, Lanier earned three Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Younger Actress and took home the trophy in 2018.
Nelle was killed off in September 2020, but Lanier made a ghostly appearance from beyond the grave for a single episode in September 2022. The actress has been keeping busy with appearances in primetime shows like NCIS: HAWAI’I, 9-1-1, and STATION 19 as well as making short films like The Reveal and other projects, but many GH fans are hoping she’ll bring Nelle back from the dead someday to stir up even more trouble in Port Charles!
