THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Biggest Holiday Toy Drive Ever!
If it’s the holiday season, that must mean it’s time for the annual THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Toy Drive! For the past four years, in conjunction with NAACP and National Action Network, Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) has gathered some of her co-stars to help go shopping for toys that will be distributed to children in need.
“This was our most successful toy drive yet!” Stafford enthused on Instagram. “It just gets bigger and bigger! So many toys! A very special thank you to Susie and Mark at Big Lots and Big Lots Corp. for giving us the incredible discount our second year in a row!
“This is not only for the kids but also to make life a little easier on the parents,” she continued. “It’s heartbreaking, not being able to provide for your babies. Everyone needs a little help during the holidays. We are always happy to give during this time. Thank you to everyone at Y&R who gave! You come through every year! I am so honored to be a part of this selfless, giving group!”
Stafford was joined in the store by Y&R co-stars Lauralee Bell (Christine), Connor Floyd (Chance), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), Melissa Ordway (Abby), Bryton James (Devon), and Courtney Hope (Sally).
