Brown’s Back On MAIDS!

Tags:

Lifetime’s DEVIOUS MAIDS is about to get a lot more colorful with the return of Brianna Brown (ex-Lisa, GENERAL HOSPITAL) as Michael’s prostitute-turned-bride, Taylor Stappord, to the cast this season. While she appeared briefly last season (to explain that she and Michael were moving to Washington, D.C.), Brown will be a major presence this summer. “I’m thrilled to be back — it’s fun to be able to play in a dramedy, and the cast is phenomenal,” Brown enthuses. “I’d missed a lot of my friends [there], especially Ana Ortiz (Marisol).”

Brown is also close with executive producer Sabrina Wind, who has big plans in mind for the Stappords’ return to Beverly Hills. “When they mentioned bringing back my storyline, I was so excited,” Brown confides. “I knew that it will be a lot of fun, and I knew that they were not going to be bringing me back for no reason!” Indeed, when the couple shows up in the Monday, June 1, premiere (airing at 9:00 p.m. ET), they’ll have big news to share. “Taylor hasn’t changed much,” Brown insists. “But the dynamic between her and Michael has because of the stress of having a new child in the mix.”

The duo will also add another new member to their household, maid Bianca (played by GLEE’s Naya Rivera). “Naya is so sweet,” Brown enthuses of her new castmate. “And she’s pregnant, so it’s been fun to talk about that between takes.” For more from Brown, including details about her two upcoming films, check out her Soaps In Depth Keeping Track feature, on sale Monday, June 22.
