Vanessa Marcil Stars in ‘The Wrong Mother’ — Watch a Preview Here!

It’s no secret that a lot of GENERAL HOSPITAL fans would love nothing more than to see Vanessa Marcil returning as Brenda, but unfortunately, they’ll just have to settle for watching the actress starring in her brand new movie, The Wrong Mother, premiering Saturday, April 8, at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime!

In the thriller, originally titled “Deadly Devotion,” Marcil plays Kelsey Larsen, whose dream of having a family of her own has finally come true after she delivers beautiful twins following an in vitro procedure. But when she requires home care, the nurse Kelsey hires turns out to be the woman who donated the eggs for the procedure who wants “her” babies back and will do anything to get them!

Brooke Nevin (SCORPION) plays Vanessa, the psycho who wants to steal Kelsey’s children, and Stephen Snedden (THE LONE GUNMEN) is Kelsey’s husband, Drew (That’s him in Marcil’s Instagram photo above!). Also look for daytime alums Mykel Shannon Jenkins (ex-Charlie, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) and David Lago (ex-Raul, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) in the cast.

As you can see in the teaser trailer below, Marcil’s character, although injured, fights like a mama bear for her children. “I did my own stunts,” the actress revealed on Instagram, “because ‘that [stuff] is fun.’”
