GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Sean Blakemore Accepts His Daytime Emmy Award — Read His Heartfelt Words!

Sean Blakemore (ex-Shawn, GENERAL HOSPITAL) won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor, but was unable to attend, so former co-star Vinessa Antoine (Jordan) accepted the trophy on his behalf.

But the actor made it to the after party and tweeted out a photo of himself with the award as well as some heartfelt words as an acceptance speech of sorts!

“Congrats to the entire cast and crew of GH!” he continued. Vinessa, thank you for your grace accepting this on my behalf. You are a class act. Thanks to all of my supporters. Limitless appreciation and love! Thanks to my incredible wife and daughter, who simply are my absolute!”

Congratulations to Blakemore on his success on Emmy night, and fans can look forward to even more from the talented actor with his upcoming roles on the new BET pilot THE YARD and on Lifetime’s DEVIOUS MAIDS.
