Soap Alums Rib Hillis and Jessica Morris Are Engaged!
Please join us in congratulating daytime alums Jessica Morris and Rib Hillis on their engagement! “So this happened,” Morris exclaimed on Instagram, sharing some pics of her and her new fiancé toasting and kissing as she showed off her new diamond engagement ring. “Finally!”
Soap fans will remember Morris from her 2001-2005 run on ONE LIFE TO LIVE as Jennifer Rappaport (along with a dream sequence appearance in a 2008 episode). More recently, she has appeared in TV movies like The Wrong Fiancé, Twisted Little Lies, and Secret Lives of Housewives, and has also taken to penning scripts for them, too!
Hillis made his daytime debut playing Dr. Jake Marshak on the GENERAL HOSPITAL spinoff PORT CHARLES from 1997-98. He also subbed in for Eric Martsolf on NBC sudser PASSIONS in 2006. He has also appeared in primetime series like ANGEL, CSI, and UGLY BETTY as well as in TV movies like Sins and Seduction, The Wrong House SItter, and Psycho Storm Chaser. Hillis has twin sons from his first marriage and tied the knot with DANCING WITH THE STARS ballroom champion Elena Grineko in 2012.
“Words can’t express how much I love you,” Hillis declared in the comments of his fiancée’s post. “We have been through so much together and apart over the years and you have never given up on me, on us. All I am, all I have, is yours, my queen. Love you!”
