DAYS OF OUR LIVES Renewed for Two Years!
Great news for soap fans! DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been renewed by NBC, and not just for one season but two! That’s right, the drama, romance, and adventure in Salem will continue into 2023!
“After more than 55 years of bringing drama, adventure, and romance to screens around the world, we are thrilled and honored to carry on the DAYS OF OUR LIVES legacy for another two years,” said executive producer Ken Corday. “We are thankful to NBC for their enduring commitment to the show and grateful to continue this wonderful journey with our fans for years to come.”
Back in April, DAYS wrapped production on its 56th season with renewal not guaranteed, though insiders were hopeful NBC would come through. Then in early May, Tamara Braun revealed through her Instagram Stories that the soap had gone back into production, though an official announcement regarding renewal had not yet been made. But now it’s official — DAYS has been picked up for both a 57th and a 58th season!
“We couldn’t be happier to bring our loyal fans two more seasons of DAYS OF OUR LIVES and continue what has been an absolutely remarkable achievement in television,” said Michael Sluchan, executive vice president of scripted series & kids programming for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “A big thank you to Ken Corday and the cast and crew for their incredible passion for storytelling that continues to reach new generations of viewers.”
So keep tuning in to DAYS every weekday for all the twists and turns to come, knowing that they’re going to keep coming for two more years — and hopefully, plenty more to come after that!
